It was November 16th 2008 hard rain that morning I didn't wanna go hunting it was raining so bad my girlfriend at the time convinced me to go so we packed up and started heading to my aunt's land a couple towns over and driving by my dad's house she goes "there's a buck in the field!" I was like what stop walk back and yep buck in the field with a few doe they noticed us and started running off I shot a few times but no luck we searched for a hour or so and nothing walking back out to where the buck was originally that I had shot at was this huge guy standing there broadside! I froze up buck fever hit hard couldn't do anything but look at him through the cross hairs then she says "shoot!" He twitch's!!! And relased me from buck fever and pow! Perfect shot ran maybe 60 yards and dropped! 217lb 6 point!!
