DEFENDERS DOWNED: Alexander/Pembroke came up just short on Saturday, falling 11-8 to Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton in the NYSPHSAA Class C Far West Regional. The Defenders finish the season with a record of 10-1 and as the Section V Class C champions.
