Since its release in November 2024, this PSA has reached over 4.1 million individuals across the country, exceeding a donated media value of more than half a million dollars.

Celebrity animal lover and legendary singer-songwriter, Smokey Robinson, encourages viewers to adopt a shelter pet and support the work of the American Humane Society. And he does it all with his furry best-friend, Shadow, by his side.

Every year, more than four million pets end up at shelters across the United States. It’s a sad statistic that emphasizes how much cats and dogs need our support. And for nearly 150 years, the American Humane Society had been a champion for animals- helping to rescue, care for, and protect them in crisis situations.
