Ground was broken this morning on the $14.3 million Saluda Center for Manufacturing Excellence, to be built on the Saluda County campus of Piedmont Tech. The facility will serve students at Saluda County, Batesburg-Leesville and Ridge Spring-Monetta schools. Ralph Shealy, staff reporter was there to cover the story with more info. to come in an upcoming issue of the paper.
