Official Announcement: A New Chapter Begins January 1, 2027
The Closing of Nails, Skin & Hair of America After 30 Years
After thirty remarkable years of service, education, advocacy, and leadership in South Carolina, I have made the decision to officially close the doors to Nails, Skin & Hair of America (NSHA) on January 1, 2027.
Thirty years is a long time.
Three decades of fighting for our industry, raising professional standards, shaping legislation, training thousands of skilled professionals, and elevating what it means to be licensed in the beauty field.
NSHA has been a part of my heart and my mission, and what a ride it has been.
We accomplished far more than anyone ever imagined.
We educated. We advocated. We collaborated.
We protected the rights and safety of licensed professionals, and we survived challenges — including the pandemic — that transformed our industry forever.
But times have changed dramatically, especially in the last five years post-COVID.
And after deep reflection, it is time to wrap up this chapter, put a bow on it, and move forward into bigger and better things.

Continuing Education: Expanding Into Two Powerful Homes
Although NSHA will close, my commitment to providing exceptional, accurate, high-quality continuing education remains unchanged.
AFTER December 31, 2026, CE will be offered through two strong platforms:
1. Chesley Paige Phillips Productions
This will remain the home for the full range of educational programs you’ve come to trust — technical, creative, and industry-related.
2. Salon Professionals Alliance (SPA)
SPA will now serve as a major provider of business, regulatory, entrepreneurship, compliance with many new classes being added.
SPA’s CE branch will ensure that licensed professionals have strong, informed, business-minded education supporting their careers and legal compliance.
Between CPPP and SPA, you will have more CE options than ever before — broader, deeper, and fully aligned with the evolving needs of today’s industry.
