For those of you who know me well, my original artist name was Rhythmic Remix, but that was ultimately a test to basically see what I could record having no musical production training at the time. I really didn't like the name after having thought of it, so it has been reinvented as DJ Raveport! I'm a huge fan of electronic/dance music so I thought the name "Rave" would make my music very "nightc
lub-esque" sounding. I think of a port as being very multi-dimensional, like a gateway, a city by the ocean, a melting pot of mixtures, "a means to a stay" in that trendy and modern sort of way. You know what I mean? Do you dig it? Raveport is fictional yet so real, it's mesmorizing...Just love it! It's really music, art and literature all in one bite-size package! A Note from the CEO and founder of Raveport Multimedia Entertainment, Nick Mitchell. Thanks for much for visiting my page, I hope it inspires you to support music and the arts in public schools as well as existing programs that benefit students and professional musicians who make entertainment possible and enjoyable by the masses. I graduated from Millersville University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Business Technology, and a minor in Economics. I would like to share with you the knowledge that I've acquired through the years about music in today's competitive market. Whether you're looking for music lessons, recording services, instrument repair or just plain oid enjoyable online content, Raveport is a concept that I hope to successfully make famous simply for its sheer originality and futuristic, forward-thinking ideals. Does that make sense? I'm still in the beginning stages of building this small business and creative vision, but I'm hoping to provide my services to prospective clients and create a new diverse collection of original futuristic electronic music for the digital age!
