But… There’s 2 big steps in making money

The first is making enough that you can start minimizing the things you hate. Second is making enough to start maximizing the things you love!

People focus on Step 2 (lifestyle, cars, mansions, etc) but the real flex comes at Step 1🤷🏾‍♂️

I’ll forever say it… Savings accounts are a scam! 🗣🗣🗣

Paying folks an average of .03-06% while they trade your money on the stock exchange the same stock exchange you can or upset yourself in and make way more.

Open a brokerage account or IRA and throw that same amount in the S&P500 which historically performs at 11% - peep the difference 👀👀

A mentor told me once: “Everything you do, things you say, people in your circle, habits you create, even clothes you wear has an impact on your future.”

That hit me different… So I had to adjust 🙏🏾

Manifest the things you want in the future, by living them today.

I'm a go out on a limb and say we all were

This isn't a problem however, as college was an idea taught to our parents as a way out so they only passed down what they thought would benefit us the most

Makes sense right?

Problem is the ceiling that student loan debt, low starting pay, and high costing cities places on you makes that degree more of a liability than a ticket out...

Now that a lot of us are parents it’s important we set our kids up for success the way out parents tried to with us but with a slight tweak to fit the current times:

College for:
📚STEM Fields
📚Medical Professions
📚Teaching
📚Law

Trades for:
🛠️Practical work
🛠️Labor Services
🛠️Mechanical

Business for:
💼Creative
💼Arts
💼People Facing
💼Product Sales

All of these paths make money and have $1 Million potential 💰💰

College shouldn't be a "waiting room" for kids that don't know what to do with themselves.

Paying the minimum only does one thing and that is kick the can further down the road. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Only in this case every time you kick the can it starts to fill up with heavy ass rocks 🪨 so every time you kick it it gets heavier and heavier 😰 till one day you kick that mug and it breaks ya toe. 😵‍💫

The can is your credit card balance, 💳the rocks are interest, 📈 and the toe is your payments 💵

First off shout out to at the for doing what real ninjas do when you get to talking reckless about the MRS. This is what “protecting black women” looks like especially YOUR BLACK WOMAN! 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 You dropped this king 👑

Now back to the rant at hand 😊

I know I’m not alone in this… 🤦🏾‍♂️ You get online to your student loan dashboard and you see a balance due that’s been the same balance due for the last 24 months. Only problem is you’ve been pay steady for that entire time…. So why no change?!

One Word…. INTEREST!

Interest when it comes to student loans as to be one of the biggest crimes in our financial system, it keeps folks perpetually locked in a constant rat race of repaying for a loan that they’ve especially already payed two times over.

It’s important to pay these things off quickly!!!

How do you do that?

By paying a little more each payment time and adding it to the principal amount. This over time creates a much bigger dent in your debt as opposed to constantly paying the set amount or minimum.

Getting you out of their clutches and on to financial freedom that much faster! 🙏🏾🙏🏾
