As you all may or may not know, my name is Kendric Curtis Sr….the father of the late Kendric Curtis junior who life was taken so unexpectedly and tragically by the hands of an ATF officer on September 18th in Aliquippa Pa. Unfortunately because i do not reside in PA but in Baton Rouge Louisiana….on top of receiving this devastating news about my son i faced a lot of obstacles just trying to get here (In aliquippa) to be present wit my other children during this horrific life changing time in our lives but also to lay my son to rest. With the help of a group of people that came together by way of just spreading a word, sharing a post, lifting me up in prayer and donating to the cause of getting me a plan ticket to come i was able to make it here and was also blessed a lot a limited time free stay at hotel that I’m so thankful for. Unfortunately, with everything my family is facing right now and me personally in a financial bind i am laying any pride to the side and simply just asking out of the kindness of my heart for any monetary donations if you find it in your heart to sow into me particularly for me to be able to get a flight back home following after all my sons arrangements are done this week. This isn’t me asking for any personal gain or ulterior motive i simply just need to be able to get back home so anything would be helpful, appreciated and genuinely i am grateful. I can’t thank each of you enough for the support you have shown me and my family this far and even the lengths you have already gone to not only bring awareness to this tragedy but also demanding justice and even blessing me to even be here to see my son be laid to rest.
