This is our second year helping the Louisiana Youth Legislature capture all of the excitement that this incredible program brings. Our three-person team captured portraits of over 1,700 students! Additionally, we took pictures and video of all the action and completed a 3 minute video at the conclusion of each 2-day session. That’s 9 videos, total!

This project is the definition of a QuickFlip. Each day required a strong structure and well-coordinated effort to get the work done on this incredibly short deadline.

In this webinar, journalist and longtime interviewer Samantha Morgan shares what she’s learned from years of conducting on-camera interviews and conversations. Drawing on her background in journalism and digital storytelling, she breaks down how listening, adjusting in real time, and asking questions on behalf of the audience lead to stronger interviews and cleaner video content.

This session focuses on keeping video podcasts a low lift by getting the interview right from the start, so creators can spend less time fixing problems in post-production and more time publishing and sharing content people actually want to watch and listen to.
