🚨 A Baton Rouge Woman Is Wanted After Allegedly Helping the Teen Accused of Shooting Her. 🚨
According to Baton Rouge Police, 31-year-old Charlitria Thomas is wanted on multiple charges after investigators say she helped her 15-year-old estranged boyfriend, Damon King, evade arrest after he allegedly shot her in the face during an argument in December 2025.
Police say officers responded to a shooting on Evergreen Drive, where Thomas was found with a gunshot wound to her jaw. Investigators allege that witness statements and surveillance footage identified Damon King as the shooter.
Authorities say King was armed with two fi****ms, shot Thomas in the face, demanded she remain in the grass while preventing others from helping her, and stole her purse before fleeing.
King was later wanted on charges including attempted second-degree murder, armed robbery, illegal use of a weapon, and juvenile in possession of a firearm.
Investigators now allege that Thomas knowingly helped King avoid arrest by concealing his whereabouts, refusing to cooperate with detectives, and transporting him from Louisiana to Mississippi despite knowing he was wanted. Police say the two were eventually stopped by the Mississippi Highway Patrol on December 31, where King was taken into custody.
These are allegations, and all defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
