Allyah Martin, one of three people arrested for conspiring to kill Southern University Human Jukebox member Steven Harris, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after she pleaded no contest.

A Pointe Coupee elementary teacher was arrested Thursday on a charge of cruelty to a juvenile after a student's family said she tripped their son and dragged him on the ground.
