🚫♻️ Louisiana is taking a stand against littering and illegal dumping.

Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser, Rep. John R. Illg, Jr., and Keep Louisiana Beautiful announced stronger enforcement efforts, giving State Park Rangers authority to enforce litter laws statewide and expanding the litter hotline process. With Louisiana State Parks and the Department of Wildlife & Fisheries stepping in, reporting litter will now lead to quicker enforcement and accountability.

💧 Looking ahead, the Love Our Waterways cleanup initiative launches statewide in September 2026 to restore Louisiana’s rivers, lakes, and bayous.
