One picture says I caught a Louisiana lake monster… the next says it’s basically a fish stick.

Honestly, social media works the same way — angles, framing, and timing can make things look way bigger than they really are.

Kinda makes you wonder how many things in life look completely different depending on who’s holding the camera. Am I wrong? 🎤

I’m breaking the rules again. I decided our southern macaroni salad needed a cultural fusion with Japanese sushi! 🍣 🦀

The science is in the contrast—creamy pasta salad topped with a cold citrus ponzu slaw. I call it mac’KRAB’oni Salad. Don’t judge it until you see the kicker at the end! 🧪🔥

In Louisiana, shrimp molds are a sacred tradition. And remaining in true fashion, I wanted to shake things up.

So, I decided to marble one, blow dry it out of a Bundt pan, and push this old-school classic completely out of its comfort zone.

I’ve always used fire and pans to create delicious meals, but after years of hearing about how much people love their air fryers, i’m ready to give it a try!  I’ve seen people rave about cooking an entire meal, to reheating leftovers, and absolutely loving this kitchen device.

Then somehow…
it always turns into a day trip to New Orleans.

Something about these is like instant time travel.

Walking into the kitchen… the smell of coffee brewing… wood cabinets…a pot simmering on the stove…

And these little mushroom canisters sitting on the counter like they owned the place. 😭😂

Honestly, I never remember seeing anyone actually grab anything from them.. So, did anybody actually USE these canisters for storage? What was in them?? 🍄
