Over this year's Memorial Day Weekend, AccessVision volunteer and veteran John Cash recorded The Remembrance Ceremony out at For Custer National Cemetery.

THE GRASS IS ALWAYS GREENER:

The City of Battle Creek, MI Government held its monthly Planning Meeting yesterday, and AccessVision was there to record the Commission deliberation....and deliberate they did!

On the agenda was a proposed Ordinance that would allow The City to fine property owners who have neglected their lawns to the point of having no grass, large patches of weeds and other unsightly characteristics.

Several members of the public spoke to the need for the ordinance, citing properties in their neighborhoods that were victims of gross neglect. Several Commissioners spoke for and against the Ordinance.

What did they decide? Are we going to see Code Enforcement roaming our streets looking for dirt lawns and rock piles to fine?
