Billy with a nice one from the weekend!

He got out Saturday evening with Panfish Phil for some walleyes on a local area lake. The bite was solid when they arrived, but it completely died as they expected it to improve in low light. It's been an interesting start to the walleye season; we've still been finding some nice fish but have had to go with some different tactics. This fish munched a classic jig and crawler.

Obviously, not saying a deep jerkbait is obsolete, but while I was filming a recent TW YouTube vid (on the channel now btw 😁), that was the deal – deeper fish weren't touching the Rapala PXR DEEP Mavrik, and then you switch to a shallow one and boom they crush it.🤷🏻‍♂️
