At this Tuesday’s meeting, Bay City Council took a significant step toward emergency readiness by approving contracts for disaster debris clearance and removal under RFP No. 25-0001. The initiative, issued jointly with Matagorda County and the City of Palacios, was designed to establish FEMA-compliant, coordinated support across the region.
