💔✨ SAD NEWS FROM D23 ✨💔

I’m honestly heartbroken to share that the Emporium (where collectors, vendors, and fans of all things Disney came together to shop and gather) will not be returning to the show floor at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event next year.

For me, the Emporium was never about having a booth or making sales (I never sold anything). It was about creating a place where we could come together, connect, laugh, play games, share giveaways, watch the Booth Cam, have our giant ballon sculptures and photo opps, do live broadcasts for those people who couldn’t make it there in person, and... most importantly... be with one another. It was our “home” on the show floor.

Being part of the Emporium since the very first D23 Expo has been an incredible privilege and one I never took lightly. I always felt honored to share the space with Disney’s official brands and partners, and I tried to bring that same level of quality, professionalism, and passion.

What I’ll miss most aren’t the things... but the people. The friends, the community, the unexpected memories that seemed to happen every year. That’s what made it special, and why this is so sad.

And since the very first D23 Expo, in 2009, this experienced was shared with my friend, and WDW Radio partner for nearly 20 years, from and her team. The booth and experience (and stress and fun) wouldn’t have been the same and never could’ve happened without you… So thank you (and I’m sorry for any stress) ☺️

While I’ll still be at D23 from open to close (of course!), this part of the experience will always hold a very special place in my heart.

And YES… we’re already planning a community event while we’re there, so stay tuned!!! 🚀

✨ I am so grateful to Michael Vargo and the entire D23 team - everyone onstage, backstage, and behind the scenes... for creating such a remarkable, memorable, and truly magical Destination D23.

As both a fan and a proud member of this incredible community, I felt such a profound sense of connection all weekend long. There was something for everyone - from exciting announcements and sneak peeks, to the perfect dose of nostalgia, sentiment, and heartfelt moments. The energy was contagious, the flow of the event was wonderful, and the sense of family and belonging was unlike anything else.

It’s a GREAT time to be a Disney fan, and this weekend reminded me just how special it is to share our love of Disney together. My nerdy, sentimental, nostalgic, Disney-loving heart grew three sizes being part of it all. 💙

Thank you to the D23 team, the cast, crew, and everyone who worked so hard to make this event happen... you made magic (and memories) not just onstage, but in the hearts of everyone who was lucky enough to be there.

🍀🎶 I had the chance to preview the 13th Annual Great Irish Hooley at Raglan Road… and wow, this is why their events are some of my absolute favorites!

From August 29 – September 1, the Hooley takes over Disney Springs with toe-tapping live music, incredible food and drinks, and a whole lot of Irish spirit (with a fun new Halloween twist this year 👻🎃).

Here’s a taste of what I got to enjoy at today’s preview:

🥘 Mini Pork Schnitzel – crispy potatoes, mustard crème, pear & shallot relish, and parmesan. Comfort food with a Celtic twist. (OMG sooo good!!!)
🥔 Gnocchi Nua – potato & herb gnocchi with zucchini, squash, peas, and that dreamy spinach-lemon-parmesan sauce.
🍞 “It’s OK to Drool” – their legendary bread & butter pudding reimagined French toast style with mascarpone, berries, and yes… crispy maple bacon.

🍹 Add in some amazing cocktails, live performances from Irish musicians and dancers, and the reveal of their new Halloween shirts (which are as cool as the event itself), and you’ve got one heck of a Hooley!

I love how Raglan Road always embraces the season, the celebration, and the community… and this weekend is going to be no exception. When you’re here, they make you feel like family.
