🐦‍⬛ The storytelling on the Disney Destiny is next-level… including “Under Her Spell: A Maleficent Encounter.”

The show takes place inside Saga, the two-story venue that transforms from day to night. This 15-minute blend of immersive theater, interactive storytelling, and character interaction brings the Mistress of Evil to life in a way I haven’t seen before on a Disney ship.

It’s creative, fun, visually stunning, and VERY impressive... from the portrayal of the Mistress of Evil, to the lighting, sound, and visual effects, to the... well... I don’t want to spoil everything.

And ending with the very personal meet-and-chat with Maleficent makes it feel truly multi-dimensional.

The only sad part of a Disney Cruise is when you have to disembark, but I’m leaving with new insight into the Disney Destiny, great memories, a LOT of content, and incredible gratitude.

Thank you to for the invitation and the opportunity to experience this beautiful new ship before her maiden voyage. And thank YOU for following along. It’s because of you that moments like this happen, and I’m incredibly grateful. 💙

The hall evolves through different character experiences. Abd with that, the moods and emotions shift through dramatic, cinematic lighting that bathes the space in rich colors and subtle effects... with each change telling a new chapter in the Destiny’s story 🌅💫
