There remains significant risk for storms tonight in our state.

But we just got an updated outlook for tomorrow’s storms.

And it got worse…not better!

The entire state has elevated risk but the area from Hattiesburg to Starkville east of I-55 is now increased up to a 5-High risk area.

We don’t see that often.

The National Weather Service is forecasting an enhanced risk of severe weather in Mississippi Tuesday (3/4/25) afternoon into the evening. Tornadoes, damaging winds, and hail are all likely. We encourage everyone to stay weather-aware.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Charles B. Holder, Jr.

Mr. Holder founded Southern Machine & Welding in 1963. Little did he know that small machine shop in an old, converted livestock barn would grow into a lasting legacy for his children, grandchildren, and all of us who are fortunate to work for Hol-Mac Corporation.

On behalf of everyone at Hol-Mac, we express our profound gratitude. Thank you, Mr. Holder, for never giving up, always striving to do things right, and most importantly, inspiring us with your faith.

Though we have lost a great leader here on Earth, we take comfort in knowing that Mr. Holder is celebrating in Heaven today.

A Celebration of life will be held at 5PM-8PM on December 20th, 2024 at Hol-Mac Corporation, 2730A Highway 15, Bay Springs, MS. An additional memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Berean Bible Church, 385 HWY 528, Bay Springs, MS.

It is with great sadness, that we the employees of Van's Deer Processing & Van's Sporting Goods, have to announce that long time owner and friend to many, Van Allen, has passed away.

The arrangements are at Grandview Baptist Church in Pearl Mississippi. Visitation is Monday, November 18th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM with funeral service following.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice in honor of Van Allen.

Both Locations will be closed Monday, November 18th 2024 in honor of Van Allen.
