Moments like this are a reminder that representation matters. Seeing Latina authors share their stories and connect with the community creates space for future generations to feel seen, inspired, and empowered.

Nobody: What do you do when it rains?
Me: Support a small business ☔🛍️

Rainy days = the perfect excuse to grab a coffee, visit a local bookstore, shop a boutique, try a new restaurant, or stop by that small business you’ve been meaning to check out.

Because every purchase, share, tag, and visit helps keep dreams alive right here in our community. Small businesses don’t stop when it rains… and neither should our support. ❤️

Tag your favorite local small business below ⬇️ and tell me: where are you headed on a rainy day?

✨ Today was one of those reminders that stories and community truly bring people together. I had the opportunity to spend time with incredible women making an impact — from meeting Latina author Ximena De La Noche and learning more about her journey, to connecting with Rosa & Jessica, the amazing owners behind Books by the Bay. 📚❤️

I love highlighting spaces like this because they’re more than bookstores — they’re places where culture, community, and conversations come alive. Supporting local businesses means supporting dreams, representation, and the people creating spaces that make us feel seen.

Have y’all visited Books by the Bay yet? Or do you have a favorite local bookstore? Drop it below ⬇️

DJ KICKIT Process…🎧🔥 Feliz Cumple!

Last year I met DJ KickIt in ATX, and little did I know that event would change my life. What I thought was just another event became the beginning of a new path, new opportunities, and a reminder that sometimes one room, one conversation, or one connection can shift everything.

From entrepreneur to keynote speaker, DJ, and leader — you continue to inspire people to think bigger and push beyond limits through B.E.A.T.: Balance, Excellence, Accountability & Tenacity.

Thank you for showing us that underdogs can win too. Wishing you continued success, blessings, and bigger stages ahead. ✨

So Feliz Cumple / Happy DJ KICKIT DAY — and let’s BEAT THE ODDS together. 🥊❤️

Real Women Have Curves is coming to Houston — and this one hits home. 💃🏽❤️

The Tony Award–winning Alley Theatre is bringing Josefina López’s powerful and hilarious play Real Women Have Curves to the stage — a story centered on five Latina women navigating body image, immigration, family, and cultural expectations.

Directed by Lisa Portes, this beloved classic celebrates resilience, humor, and the beauty of embracing who you are — something our community knows deeply.

Set in East L.A. but resonating loudly right here in Houston, this story reminds us that Latina voices, bodies, and experiences deserve to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

🎭 Performances: January 23 – February 15
📍 Hubbard Theatre
🎟️ Tickets start at $36

Let’s show up for Latina storytelling on one of Houston’s biggest stages.
