As construction work continues in downtown Morristown, a temporary road closure will take place on North Cumberland Street.
Beginning on Monday, September 28th at 8am, North Cumberland will be closed from Main Street to West 1st North Street. The roadway is expected to remain closed until Friday, October 2nd at 4pm.

Detour signs will be in place directing traffic, primarily utilizing North Jackson Street and Morris Blvd. If traveling through this area, please pay attention to message boards and detour signage.

Eastbound traffic on West 1st North between Peavine Alley and North Cumberland will be limited to one lane, as the right turn lane will be closed. This is expected to cause some traffic delays, particularly for those traveling eastbound. We encourage drivers traveling further east to avoid the area and use Morris Boulevard as an alternative.
