FOR THOSE RETAILERS THAT SELL TO***CO PRODUCTS.....you must place your public notice with the Beattyville Enterprise in order to stay in compliance to sell to***co. The deadline was January 1, 2026. Kentucky ABC will be going around to retailers to make sure the new license has been purchased, and without the legal notice being published in the legal paper of record, which is the Beattyville Enterprise, your license will not be valid without the notice and the affidavit.

The law is stated as follows: "In Kentucky, to***co retailers need a new license from the Kentucky ABC, effective January 1, 2026 (SB 100), requiring signs about the under-21 sales law, age verification, and an employee acknowledgment of the law against selling to minors. Retailers must post a conspicuous sign stating it's illegal to sell to***co/vape products to anyone under 21 and have employees sign a statement acknowledging this law (KRS 438.325), including an affidavit from legal paper of record stating the notice has been published. Failure to comply risks penalties, as the ABC can now inspect stores and enforce violations with fines and license revocation."
