About a month ago I accidentally logged out of our account (without saving things), and lost a ton of content we had batched for Soirée 😩

I know, I know. Rookie mistake.

The world didn't end, and honestly it's not a major deal just sort of sucks when you spend so much time planning, editing, and writing for it all to just DISAPPEAR!

All that to say, we've felt the hit and are just now getting around to putting our own content back on the calendar 😅

When you're busy helping everyone else show up online, your own feed tends to take a backseat (even when it's your literal job). So if you've ever gone radio silent, ghosted your grid, or fumbled your content plan... same, girl same.

We’re back now and ready to pour a little more love into our own corner of the internet✨ Stay tuned for fresh posts, BTS chaos, and a lot of ✨good energy✨ headed your way.

✨ PSA for the grid-obsessed ✨

If you’re still designing your Insta posts to fit inside those perfect lil 1:1 squares… it might be time to zoom out (quite literally) 👀

Most users are now seeing their feed in a 4:5 ratio-which means those taller, vertical posts are taking up more space and stopping more scrolls 🙌

But that doesn’t mean you’ll lose all of that hard work on your feed! Follow the steps above to fix your feed in just a few!

Here’s what they don’t tell you about working abroad:

👉 Number 1: Time Zones are a game changer 🙌 All of our clients are in the Eastern Time Zone of the United States, and I love that we are ahead of them by an hour!

👉 Number 2: It’s so much easier to be productive when you work abroad (for me anyway) I have so much more time to get things done without the extra calls/meetings I tend to have when I’m state side.

Now back to work 👩‍💻

Do you use Alt Text for your social posts? 🤔

Alt Text is a (hidden) written description of an image that helps platforms categorize your content.

Social media platforms want to connect users with appropriate content as quickly as possible, so using alt text gives the algorithms more information about what users will find in the image you are sharing.

When you use alt text for your posts, don’t forget to:

✨ Keep it short & sweet (125 characters or less)
✨ Describe what the photo is truly about
✨ Use keywords for SEO (but stay away from keyword stuffing 🙅‍♀️)

🚩 An outdated website or even worse... no website at all

🚩 Ghosting your socials for months (or years) on end
