Last night was an impromptu gathering amongst state, federal, and local leadership breaking pizza together, which gave us the opportunity to discuss issues within our community in an open and genuine way outside of parties, formal meetings and politics.

In our opinion, the best part of moments like this is being able to share and receive perspectives that are different from your own.

We don’t always have to agree on everything, but we do have to be willing to meet somewhere in the middle. Collaborating in this way is the only way we will make the changes necessary in our area.

Whether you’re red, blue, or purple, it’s time to get on the bus and start working together for the PEOPLE of Southeast Texas.

Shoutout to Buckstin Brewing Company Beaumont for creating such a unique space that allows groups to gather + Dylan Richardson for bringing everyone together, and to all of the elected officials, candidates, and community leaders who continue showing determination to better understand and represent this county and community for the PEOPLE.....

Judge Brad Burnett 21st Annual Shining Star Award was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to invest in young people.

This year’s recipient, Raziel Muraira, was recognized for overcoming obstacles, pushing forward, and achieving excellence while becoming a true shining star. Raziel will be graduating this year and continuing his journey at Lamar State College - Port Arthur to pursue barbering and we have no doubt he has a bright future ahead.

A special thank you to Harrison with Ideal Edge for bringing several professional shear options for Raziel to choose from, generously donated by Eric Sullivan with E.Sullivan Advertising & Design. Also thank you to Cary Erickson, Jefferson County Commissioner Precinct 2 for sharing words of wisdom and encouragement.

Most importantly, thank you to Brad Burnett for his long-standing dedication to this community and for continuing to create opportunities that recognize, uplift, and inspire young people year after year.

We’re honored to have been part of such a meaningful moment.

We’re looking to bring on a part-time editor to support our team at Béranger Firm.

Ideally someone local with experience in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Premiere Pro. We’re also open to training the right person who’s motivated and detail oriented.

This role would help manage edit overflow and support ongoing content production as needed.

Grateful to have been invited to experience Opus One in such an intimate setting.

Every single detail was thoughtfully executed from the tablescape, to the perfectly curated food pairings to the wine itself and the storytelling behind each pour.

The presentation was seamless, atmosphere was a genuine vibe and the entire room reflected the level of care that went into the night.

Side note: having Arianna leading the experience as one of the only sommeliers in this region brings something rare to Southeast Texas. That level of expertise and passion is exactly what continues to elevate our local scene.
