Saying goodbye to our 2 volunteers on their way to college. But it’s not the end! ❤️

Well, it’s official: our two longest-standing volunteers are leaving us to go "learn things" at college. We are so excited to see everything God has in store for Grayson and Sophia! They have literally been with Ability Central Works since almost day one, and we honestly aren’t sure how we’ll function without them. We have been incredibly blessed by their love for each team member. Over the years, these friendships have been forged with deep care, genuine love, and a whole lot of uncontrollable laughter. As you can see by these photos, they are leaving a massive, irreplaceable void (and a lot of happy memories) behind. We wish them both endless blessings on this next adventure!

💙 In Remembrance of Our Beloved Reggie 💙

Today, we remember and honor our dear friend and longtime maintenance man, Reggie. He was the kind of person who never hesitated to lend a helping hand, no matter what was asked of him. His quick wit, warm heart, and infectious smile brought joy to everyone around him.

Reggie had a special gift for making others laugh and feel welcomed. His dedication, kindness, and friendship left a lasting impact on our organization and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

His memory will continue to live on in the stories we share, the laughter we remember, and the lives he touched.

We also extend our love and gratitude to his lovely wife, Rachel, who has long been a cherished volunteer and steadfast part of our Nutrition & Services for Seniors family.

Please keep Rachel and their family in your thoughts and prayers as we celebrate Reggie's life and the legacy of kindness he leaves behind.

At Ability Central Works, our goal is to enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities through productivity and purpose. ❤️

Candle making is just one of the many ways we do that. We break the process down into manageable steps so each individual can complete their part as independently as possible. From preparing materials to pouring wax, labeling, and packaging, every candle is created by many hands working together.

Every candle tells a story of teamwork, growth, confidence, and meaningful work—and we’re proud of every single one. 🕯️✨
