Hundreds lined the streets of Beaumont on July 10 to honor Ella Cahill, who tragically died in the Hill Country flooding of July 4, while the search continues for her boyfriend, Aidan Heartfield. Heartfield’s family, citing the complexity of the recovery operation, urged volunteers not to travel to Hunt, instead recommending donations or supporting local relief efforts.
