After our high reaches the lower 50's early in the morning, the second image shows the sub freezing temps that could be recorded in some spots in southeast Texas. This is a model loop of precip type from Saturday into Sunday. Its showing chances for snow from the Arklatex, to Waco, and just north of the big bend. South of Waco and north of San Antonio, frozen precip is indicated. All areas south of that is being shown with rain and extremely cold temperatures. As we get closer, the model will slowly change.
