Tis the Season

Today's Topic: Tis the Season.
Good morning FB friends and family. Today's topic is tis the season. As I was scrolling through my FB, I saw all the wonderful holiday pictures that most of you post. Friends with friends at Christmas parties. Mothers with their children decorating the Christmas tree. Families enjoying one another. Others not forgetting their loved ones that have gone home to glory. Others with their pets enjoying the season. Tis the season to make this time special with those around you. The ones that are family and the ones that are not. It is about spreading the love and the cheer as we enter this holiday season that will be over in a week. It is lovely to see all the togetherness of the everyone. I really enjoyed watching your videos about what is going on in your lives. How wonderful it is to be able to see and to enjoy the happiness of others. I thank you for this kind gift of sharing. Tis the season...Blessings my friends.

Many hands lighten the load

Today's Topic: Many hands lighten the load.
Good morning FB friends and family. Today's topic is many hands lighten the load. This term is used in many churches. When there is an activity, a program, a special occasion, a person was invited to share the Word to the people. All of these are things that happen in a church setting. I have heard many a pastor says this, "Many hands lighten the load". What happens when you are outside of the church setting and are living in life. It is good to have friends, but it is so much better to have the special friends that you can count on. For many hands lighten the load. This does not mean that you take advantage of your friends, no, not by any means. It is the special friends that you can call when in the time of needing help. We all need help at one time or another. There are many things that we can do by ourselves, but others require more sets of hands. So, in all that you do this holiday season, remember, that, "Many hands lighten the load"...Blessings my friends.

Life goes on.

Today's Topic: Life goes on.
Good morning FB friends and family. Today's topic is life goes on. No matter what happens to you, the ups the downs, in this world life goes on. You do your best to help others and serve the Almighty in your best capacity. Sometimes the outcome is not what you thought it would be, but life goes on. What can you do. Give your best to the situation at hand and do it with a willing heart. Nothing else can be asked of you. Do your best in all situations. Why? Because life goes on. You will run into many drops along the road, sit on the rock and rest a while, catch your breath and remember, in this journey of life not all things are as they appear. Sometimes the night is dark but has the stars shining bright to show you the way. Sometimes the day is cloudy, but the sun will come out tomorrow. Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow the sun will shine again. In the meantime, chalk up situations as part of life and know that life goes on, and you, must go on with it, living, doing, asking, and serving in all that you. Life goes on...Blessings my friends.

You go to buy a coffee, give a smile to the clerk. The dog has you running ragged, give a smile. The kids are excited for the Christmas break, give a smile. The laundry is not folded yet, give a smile. The boss was in a bad mood this morning, give a smile. In everything and all things today, give a smile. You went to put gas in the car, the lines are filled with cars, give a smile. The creamer ran out on you for your morning coffee, give a smile. The apostle Paul said in the Good Book, "I have learned to be content in all things". Give a smile today, you may be the only Jesus other see today...Blessings my friends.

It is worth it

Today's Topic: It is worth it.
Good morning FB friends and family. Today's topic is it is worth it. Have you ever done something and you know that it is worth it because you know that you know that you will have a wonderful outcome if you do that certain thing? I do. You send a card to someone who really likes receiving cards in the mail, it is worth it. You know of others that enjoy being treated special, it is worth it. You make a meal and invite others to come and break bread with you and the joy that swells up in your heart is beyond words, it is worth it. You take action when there is a need present, it is worth it. You make your children's favorite meal and watch their faces light up; it is worth it. You buy the bicycle you son wanted for Christmas and you see his face is shining like the sun when he opens the gift, it is worth it. You spend quality time with a loved one and see the joy in them as you do, it is worth. You accept the Jesus into your heart and allow HIM to be your personal Savior; IT IS WORTH IT!...Blessings my friends.

Look before you leap.

Today's Topic: Look before you leap.
Good morning FB friends and family. Today's topic is look before you leap. What words. What a concept. What a saying that hits the nail the head. The older I get, the less I look down. Half the time I'm so focused on looking straight ahead, that I'm just walking and all of a sudden there is a dip in the cement, on the stairs, in the path. Look before you leap. Of course, the saying means something different, I'm just sharing what happens to me most of the time. I do not know if it happens to you the same or if it is just me it tends to happen to. Well, back to the saying, look before you leap. Did you do a little research. Did you figure the cost. Not the math the cost. For this a life saying. Always look before you leap. Weigh the pros and cons. Ask the Almighty if it is the right choice. Believe me you will get your answer there always, may not be the one you like, but your answer will be there. So, before any big changes in your life and mine of course, heed the warning, look before you leap...Blessings my friends.
