Join us next Sunday the 26th for Mag’s celebration of life at Fircrest park, starting at noon. Let’s show how many lives he touched in the NW. There will be “Miguel’s coffee bar” also with soda and waters, a rock painting station, live music and more. The theme is rainbow 🌈 so please wear the brightest colors you have. I miss him so much, but can’t wait to see all of the lives whom which he will live on through.

Today is Katie’s due date, but Odin has been in our lives since Christmas Day. It’s amazing how far he’s come, and the journey we’ve been through so far. He has been feeding tube free for 24 hours now and we’re hoping he keeps eating as well as he has been so we can keep it out 🤞

The almighty Odin has conquered the NICU and is resting peacefully under the shade of my beard on the “Grow at Home” program. He should only need his feeding tube a little while longer while we work on getting complete feeds done by mouth (he finished his first whole bottle yesterday!) He wants you to know that the three of us felt the love and support from you all and are very grateful for our friends and family. We couldn’t have done this without your contributions 🙌

Katie's surgery went well and she is back at the Ronald McDonald House with us resting now. Thank you for everyone who shared a thought or prayer for her, and a huge thank you to the Merrimans for such a thoughtful gift bag 🙏

Odin is getting big and strong, he’s almost 6.5lbs now. Still learning how to feed, but there is some light at the end of the tunnel. He may get to go home in the next few weeks. Katie has surgery on Thursday to remove a kidney stone that’s been causing her infections and lots of pain. Praying that it all goes well, and we all get to go home to the beach soon.

Feeling very grateful for all of the wonderful, supportive people in our lives. I couldn’t have made it through the last year without my wife Katie, the donors who helped us move in Lincoln City, everyone who has supported our baby boy with gifts and contributions and their time, our caregivers, and all of my friends who’ve shown love from afar. Many thanks and all the love goes out to everyone who have touched our lives, we greatly appreciate you.

We lost an incredibly humble, funny, and generous man last night. My good friend Moe (far right in this picture) was one of the most stoic people I know, life wont be the same without him. We lost his brother earlier this year as well, how devastating this is for his family, I'm at a loss for words. Rest in peace my dude, we had some great times together while you were here. I miss you tremendously already
