Did you know that today in 2017 there are 55 million Latinos that call the U.S. their home? According to Pew Research Center that number is up compared to 35.7 million in 2000……... and if that statistic isn’t enough to make you sit up and take notice then perhaps this will: projected buying power is expected to reach $1.7TRILLION in the next 3 years! Just to put it into perspective there are more Latinos living in the U.S. than the entire population of South Africa or Canada or many other nations……if U.S. Latinos were their own country they would have the 14th largest economy in the world!!! I can't help but comment that many people have gone without much sleep since the 2016 RIO olímpicos began...myself included...and although there were many concerns as to the safety, etc. of Brazil, the 2016 Olímpicos proved once again to show the best of the human spirit! A place where dreams come are born...... Congratulations to all who participated, including the hard working members of media....you are all winners!!! Abrigado Brazil!!! They place great importance on education—the key to their future.
They are products of a modern family—multi-racial, ethnically diverse and not restricted by previous generations’ desire to conform to stereotypes and norms.
If there is a true rule to marketing....it is "Be aware of the time for it is a changing!! If a company wants their product to be relevant their marketing strategy needs to be ahead of the game and not business as usual......

The conference provides a forum to focus on individual and community pathways to health equity through research, programs and policies.
