Sold my first item on Vinted today! Whoop whoop, $7!! This had some wear to it and I didn't feel comfortable selling it on eBay and Poshmark.

I just grabbed a new batch from the bins today and a good chunk of it is likely to get listed in Vintage. Anything that has a stain or damage of some type is getting sold cheap on Vinted going forward...

This is just eBay, but I'm so close to $9k on the 90 day. 45 minutes until it drops when another day falls off. It would be nice to grab one more $10 sale before midnight so I can take a picture as I've been dancing within $50 of hitting it for 4 days in a row now.

I wanna check the box and start my climb to $10k. On pace for a $1000+ more in sales this month than any month ever across the board of all 5 platforms.

Still so much more room for growth...

It's always a challenge deciding what to keep or sell. I am an avid mushroom hunter and thought this was adorable but I'm a 50 something year old dude and don't really need any stuffed animals.

New these are $20 with free shipping on Amazon with coupon. I got it at the bins for maybe $2 tops. If I sell for $10, shipping will be at least $10 (13"x13"x13" - dimensional weight entered the discussion) and they might as well have just got a new one. Less and it isn't even worth my time.

Or I could set it on my bed and move it 10 times a day... maybe I just tuck it away and give it as a gift. Christmas is only 7 months away... 🙄🙄🙄

So cute though! What would you do with a plush worth less than the cost to ship it?

You would think I was drunk shopping last night (I don't drink) because I raided Vinted, Poshmark and Depop for sourcing deals. Vinted and Depop both have free shipping so I'm finding it's about half the price of my local goodwill and I don't have to leave my house.

Raided the Chubbies and Mr. Turk specifically last night buying 15 pieces still keeping an average purchase price UNDER $5/piece including shipping, taxes and fees. My Goodwill starts no Name brand shorts and swim trunks at $6.99 and they only go up from there.

Every Chubbies piece should resell for $18-25. Every Mr. Turk piece should sell for $35-50. The free shipping is the key. It's hard to turn down since School let out on Thursday and the first day of summer is officially next Sunday. I should have a flurry of packages coming every day for the next several weeks. So far I have done this with Boden dresses, Faherty, Ibex, Smartwool, Outdoor Research and Nike. Probably bought 50+ pieces in the last 7 days. Already sold at least 5 of them.

One of the biggest perks of thrifting is the constant rotation of myself and my son's closet. Bought a Greyson polo and some Fabletics Sweat pants and the sweats fit my son perfectly. Got them both shipped for $13 total!

He gets to keep the sweats which are like new while I flip the Greyson for $25 to pay for it all and stuff $10 in my pocket as well. He is 14 and is already 6 feet tall so we are going through clothing fast. Thrifting has been a life saver.

Interesting return, roller coaster experience. Return Case opened for doesn't fit >> Case closed in my favor because customer never shipped item >> case re-opened and closed in buyers favor when they provided tracking number never added to the eBay system >> I got service "ding" for not refunding >> I appealed, got a call back and found out tracking shows return delivery to the wrong address but still no tracking in system (ebay rep manually told me the tracking number where the photo showed incorrect address).

Appeal won, customer got money back, I got ding removed and my money back, some stranger has a pair of cycling shoes they didn't ask for.

The appeal process was easy, got a call back within 2 minutes, problem solved in a 5 minute phone call. Nothing but praise for eBay customer service.

Customer tried, but didn't quite do it right but this was an item shipped from Puerto Rico. Not a scammer, just didn't speak English.

I did my part, customer did their part and most importantly eBay did their part too. Everyone won, great outcome.
