Low ball offers are killing me.. Priced at $24.95 but on sale for 35% off already making it $16.22 and they offer $12. It's only $4 difference. I could counter but for $2 or $3? I could accept and make maybe $2 after fees for my time listing, photographing, storing and shipping the item. The other option is I could decline and take a chance I lose them.

I really feel like it's a lose/lose/lose set of choices here. What would you do?

New BOLO for you to keep in mind. Picked up two pair of Vivaia knit heels today for $16 each. People have been calling them the "New Rothy's" as they are selling really well pre-owned for $35-60 and selling pretty quickly too (~65% sell thru rate).

I sold a pair last week for full asking price of $54.95. Something to consider if you see them in the wild under $20.

I haven't been going to many garage sales lately as I've been buying my inventory on Vinted, but I tripped over one today and had to look.

They had a box of ties on the dollar table, mostly garbage 60's and 70's Wembley and Arrow type ties but I dug and found one Christian Dior buried in the box for $1. The rest of the sale was old tools that didn't interest me, but I spotted a vintage pool cue that piqued my interest for $10.

The rubber bumper said Brunswick and it looked like Mother of Pearl (It turned out to be "Pearloid" which is synthetic MoP) so I thought it had potential and asked if she would throw in the tie for free if I bought the cue for her asking price of $10. Everyone walked away happy.

Turns out the pool cue is from the 50's and is worth $75-150, case is worth $20-35 and the tie is worth another $15-30. Not bad for $10.

Love it when people get snippy because I won't accept their lowball offers. Really bro? These are priced at $33 and 4 ...

Oops, so used to listing cards lately I put the weight of this Criquet Polo at 2 oz and customer chose the Standard Envelope option for shipping. (Which means Free Shipping).

It's fine, I sold it in less than an hour and only paid $7. Even after shipping and fees I'll double if not triple my money.

Taking pictures of full length dresses is a challenge for me without a mannequin. These are the perfect opportunities to use AI models. I stole the mannequin pics from the Vinted Ad I originally purchased this from and paired them with an AI model.

I think it turned out pretty good. Certainly better than my pics... This is a Maeve dress from Anthropology FWIW.

Just hit a new benchmark. 1500 active listings. Adding cards have boosted those numbers but they don't take up space and are easy to list and ship.

This was the magic trigger number that increased my Nifty subscription to a Pro account which costs an extra $20/month but honestly that's ok as Nifty more than pays for itself.

How many listings do you have currently?

Taking a minute to walk away and catch my breath with kid before school starts next week. Grabbed an Amtrak and headed from Portland to Seattle. Put my store on vacation hold, have zero pictures in my phone to list, all my packages went to the post office before leaving.

Time to decompress for 48 hours and not think about work for a couple days. Maybe take a walk around Pike's market and watch them sling fish at each other or grab a coffee from the Original Starbucks.
