Excellent few hours Kickstand Cafe chatting about our books and selling some copies. And we got to meet our lovely intern Abigail in person! And she has family in Madison , the inspiration for Robyn Ryle ‘s first novel.

Heading down to the opening reception Cape Cod Writers Center conference. Kudos to the organizers for covering the faculty lodging and meals. Looking forward to connecting with writers and offering some insights into the opaque publishing industry. Plus just maybe I’ll read a bit of my own work at the faculty reading.

Running a startup is a crazy amount of work and to-dos and lists and wearing many hats. A couple of hours of editing an amazing manuscript in the sun with a coffee is like an oasis of calm in the middle of it all.
