March 3, 1931 - The "Star Spangled Banner," written by Francis Scott Key, was adopted as the American national anthem. The song was originally a poem known as "Defense of Fort McHenry" in the War of 1812.
God Bless America and our hero's.

Francis Scott Key (Aug 1, 1779 – Jan 11, 1843) was an American lawyer, author, and amateur poet, Sadly, he was dead 88 years before his poem became our national anthem.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISHES TODAY
Burton Hill "Burt" Mustin would have been 140 Years Old Today
(February 8, 1884 – January 28, 1977)

The original "He went that-a-way" man.

Over the course of his career, Mustin appeared in over 150 film and television productions. He also worked in radio and appeared in stage productions.

Mustin began his professional acting career at the age of 67 after being cast him in the 1951 film noir "Detective Story".

Known for his dependability and versatility, Mustin would go on to establish a career as a well-known character actor and worked extensively in film and television from the 1950s to the 1970s.

In 1960, Mustin guest starred on The Twilight Zone in the episode "The Night of the Meek" alongside Art Carney. He also appeared in a second episode of the series, "Kick the Can" in 1962. In 1964, Mustin had an uncredited role in The Outer Limits episode "The Guests".

My favorite role was "Gus the Fireman" on Leave It to Beaver.

Mustin married Frances Robina Woods in 1915. They remained married until Woods' death in 1969. The couple had no children.
54 Years. (Why am I not shocked?)

In January 1977, Mustin died in Glendale, California at the age of 92.

Happy Birthday Burt. Here's to ya.

Thank you so much for all of your support. After nearly 4 months of requesting my reviews be restored, Google has granted my wish.
Happy Days are here again.
Hard to explain how damaging it was to have 20 years of reviews wiped out over some confusion. Give praise & thanks and let's hope this never happens again. 🥰😊

I guess I've gotten kind of lazy & spoiled over the past few years. My Google listing has brought me more business than I can handle until recently. The powers that be erased my business listing with 20 years of reviews mysteriously.
I have recreated my listing and I have have burned up the web writing emails, and corresponding with AI and automated generic replies. On Thursday, I actually was able to book a Zoom session with one of their business analysts (for a small fee)
They walked me through the process of requesting that all of my old reviews to please be reinstated to my new listing.
Might take a few days before I find out the answer.
I had no idea how critical that listing was with all of those years of customer reviews...until my phone just suddenly stopped ringing.

We are now launching a new independent website to help insure that this doesn't happen again. However, in the meantime, I am in need of a favor. If you've ever used our video transfer services, would you mind writing me a new review for Google?
It would be oh so appreciated. Thank you in advance.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY WISHES
Bill Mumy - 70 Years old
(Born: Feb 1, 1954)

An American actor, musician, pitchman, instrumentalist, voice-over artist, and a figure in the science-fiction community. He is perhaps best known for his work as a child actor in film and television throughout the 1960s, then credited as Billy Mumy.

The red-headed Mumy came to prominence in the 1960s as a child actor, most notably as Will Robinson, the youngest of the three children of Professor John and Dr. Maureen Robinson (played by Guy Williams and June Lockhart, respectively) and friend of the nefarious and pompous Dr. Zachary Smith (played by Jonathan Harris), in the 1960s CBS sci-fi television series Lost in Space.

He later appeared as a lonely teenager, Sterling North, in the 1969 Disney film, Rascal, with Steve Forrest. He was cast as Teft in the 1971 film Bless the Beasts and Children. In the 1990s, he had the role of Lennier in the syndicated sci-fi TV series Babylon 5, and he also served as narrator of A&E Network's Emmy Award-winning series, Biography. He is notable for his musical career, as a solo artist and as half of the duo Barnes & Barnes.

Mumy is remembered as a player in CBS's original Twilight Zone (1959 to 1964). In the episode "It's a Good Life" (November 1961), he plays a child who terrorizes his town with psychic powers (a role he later reprised along with his daughter Liliana Mumy, in the It's Still a Good Life episode of the second revival series; he also had a cameo in the remake of "It's a Good Life" in the 3rd segment of Twilight Zone: The Movie). Mumy also played the character of young Pip, a boy who enjoyed playing with his father but was always ignored, in the episode "In Praise of Pip" (September 1963), and the character of Billy Bayles, a boy who talks to his dead grandmother through a toy telephone, in the episode "Long Distance Call" (March 1961). He also wrote the story for the episode Found and Lost in the second revival of The Twilight Zone.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILL ROBINSON
