This is what innovation actually looks like in real life 👀

We spent the week in DC at the ASCRS Annual Meeting capturing behind-the-scenes content for Ocubio.

First year as a company.
First time exhibiting.
And they were packed with attention.

Their approach to dry eye?
It’s not a tweak—it’s a completely different way of thinking about treatment, using each patient’s own biology to create a custom solution.

Watching surgeons stop, ask questions, and really engage… that’s the kind of moment you can’t fake.

That’s what we aim to capture.

Two days. One conference. A full library of content.

We were in DC at the ASCRS Annual Meeting working with Ocubio for their first time exhibiting.

Instead of just showing up and taking photos, we focused on capturing content they can continue to use:
• Interviews
• Short-form clips
• Candid moments
• Booth and networking coverage

We also delivered select images in real time so they could start using content immediately.

Some places just hit different… and River Mountain is one of them.

It’s out in the mountains of Everett, PA, but it’s not just about the views — it’s the whole experience. Fresh air, unreal food, quiet trails, hot tubs, good conversations… everything feels intentional without trying too hard.

I’ve been working with their team capturing photo + video content during their full weekends, and honestly, the best part is how real everything is.

No forced moments. Just people:

• relaxing in the hot tubs
• walking the trails
• hanging out during happy hour
• enjoying really good meals together

And my job is to capture all of that in a way that helps future guests see themselves there.

Also… not a bad day when part of your job involves documenting people living their best life in a hot tub 😄

This is what the future of tech actually looks like…
And it’s happening on college campuses every weekend.

I spent the weekend at a Major League Hacking event at UVA capturing the energy behind one of these hackathons — and it did not disappoint.

If you’ve never seen one before:

Students show up…
Form teams…
And spend the next 24–48 hours building real apps, platforms, and tools from scratch.

For this project, I focused on:
• Short-form interviews with teams about what they built
• Full demo videos of their projects in action
• Event photography capturing the overall experience

MLH runs hundreds of these events every year, helping students break into fields like:
• AI & machine learning
• Software development
• Web & mobile apps
• Emerging tech

For a lot of them, this is where things really click — where they go from learning… to actually building.

From my side, these are some of the most fun environments to capture — tons of energy, collaboration, and real moments happening all around you.
