Chronicling the Office/Studio Build, p.4

Welp, lights were indeed, totally inadequate, which called for some new Elgato key lights to keep me looking good on work calls. But after picking them up I just couldn't resist leaning into the rest of the ecosystem; and kitted out my whole setup with elgato gear for my mic, we**am, and stream deck solution. Best decision ever.

Running VSTs on my mic, in real time, for zoom calls is such overkill but man I love it. 😂 Shout out to who makes ALL the plug ins I'm using on my mic FX chain.

I probably spent about 10-12 hours on cabling alone once we had all the gear in... and man lemme tell ya.... This MF is FUNCTIONAL, and being able to seamlessly share all my peripherals between my work machine and PC is incredible.

Time to focus on the rest of the room now while the parts for my new, Ryzen 9 7900/RTX4090 build trickle in. Then it will be time to get back down to trance business. I fu***ng love this desk lmao 😂

Chronicling the Office/Studio Build, p.3:

As anticipated, rev 1.0 of the desk didn't last long lol. Bringing my personal PC into the mix after finally getting it into the new house called for some upgrades. Mainly in the form of an amazing KVM solution from TESmart and some quality of life updates for the monitors, getting them mounted and up off the desk.

This is definitely more in the right direction.
