This coming Tuesday, Dec. 23, since it's the holidays and there's no Thursday class, I want to make the evening more like a Saturday dance. Anyone can come! I'll set up the tables and the party lights. From 6 to 7, it's all AB dances, $5. From 7-8, all beginner dances, $7. Or $10 for the whole night. And as a bonus, any intermediate dancers who want to come for all or part of the night can pay just $5 and join the beginners (with some floor splits!) and even get an extra half hour from 8-8:30 (maybe later!) for anything you request.

Rachel McEnaney is a superstar line dancer and choreographer. She's been putting out some nice step descriptions for new dancers. I like this one about how to do scissor steps, which I always see newbies struggle with. The one thing I would add to what she says here is that when she says step together she actually places the one foot slightly behind. That makes it easier to do the crossing step. We do scissors in Come Dance With Me and many other dances!
