Hey, it's Joyce Conroy, host of "The Block Party" heard on 91.1 FM (WHFC) and whfc911.org on Saturday night from 9-12 Midnight. We have a wonderful, informative, educational and fun segment known as "Ernie's Corner" with award winning creative director and designer, Ernie Cefalu who was behind the design of the Rolling Stones tongue logo that is used on The Stones' merchandise. Ernie and his company Pacific Eye and Ear created so many iconic designs in both the music and corporate world and we are able to share this with you thanks to your support of WHFC. We are finishing up our Fall Fundraiser. Friday, October 10th which is the final day; however, WHFC's mission is to continue being a vital source to the Harford County community and beyond. I invite you to log onto whfc911.org to make your pledge and Ernie and I will meet you Saturday on "The Block Party".

Acting Secretary Ed Rothstein joined Bill Montgomery, WHFC-FM On-Air Host of Veterans SITREP, to discuss his first 60 days leading the Maryland Department of Veterans and Military Families.

Learn more about Rothstein's work in public service and how DVMF is working to ensure that no one is left behind—expanding access to benefits, improving outreach across every region, and partnering with other state agencies to reduce health disparities and advance health equity for veterans, military families, and older Marylanders. This interview was part of a September feature in observance of National Suicide Prevention Month.
