The Bakery Photo Collective proudly presents the 25th annual Photo A-GoGo, a one-night exhibit celebrating the photographic arts in Maine and from away. The dynamic evening entails live music, local drinks, and a space full of old and new friends and of course, powerful photography. The event takes place on November 22, 2025 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Maine Coast Waldorf School, located at 57 Desert Road in Freeport. Sidle House Gallery‘s 3rd annual small new original works exhibition titled S.N.O.W. ’25 is on view through November 30. The show includes 92 pieces selected from more than 200 submissions, and features artists from within and outside of Maine, including both emerging artists as well as those with well-established studio followings. All works were made in 2025, and recurring themes in the collection evoke foraging, time, place, patterns, elements, companions loved and forgotten, oracles, and warnings.

When “Landscapes of the Heart: Abstraction to Verismo” opens on November 19 with an artists’ reception from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Craignair Gallery. Viewers will marvel at the different ways the 23 artists responded to the theme. With over 100 entries from 50 different artists, the jurors — gallery director Katharine Cartwright and UMVA board member Ann Tracy — had quite the job choosing the 35 pieces for this final 2025 UMVA (Union of Maine Visual Artists) show. The exhibit is the first time that Craignair Gallery and UMVA have collaborated on an exhibition; the works will be on view until January 5, 2026.
