Known for her unforgettable hit “Sunny Came Home,” her landmark album Steady On, and a career built on beautifully crafted songs and deeply personal storytelling, Shawn Colvin brings a rare and intimate evening of music to one of Maine’s most historic performing arts venues.

“Hungry Eyes” at 49 Oak explores appetite, the animal, and the sensation of consuming art through the work of emerging artists Cam Fox, Bets Ondrey, Sophia Sutherland, and Tom Dailey. In this selection of work, the empty and plentiful become spaces of discovery. The figure and field is layered, while abstraction and reference converge. This Temporary Space is pleased to present We Are All Magicians, a group show featuring works by Alanna Hernandez, Annika Earley, Bethany Engstrom, Cindy McGuirl, and Monserrat Indarte. Abattoir Gallery will debut a solo presentation of new works by Eleanor Conover at Independent Art Fair, booth 415. The fair opens with a preview on Thursday, May 14, and continues through Sunday, May 17. This marks the artist’s first solo presentation in New York and precedes her first museum exhibition at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art, opening January 2027.
