✨ Did you know a child’s sitting posture can give speech and feeding therapists important clues?
When kids choose to sit in a “W” shape, it doesn’t always mean there’s a problem—but if it happens often, it may point to underlying challenges with core strength, balance, or flexibility. These things can influence not only movement, but also breathing, feeding, and even communication skills.
👩⚕️ At Little Eaters & Talkers, we look at the whole child—because posture, play, and motor skills are all connected to how little ones eat, talk, and grow.
💡 If you notice your child frequently W-sitting, it might be a good idea to check in with a therapist.
