3 p.m. – We’ve made a schedule change or two this week, and that’s why the “Rachel & Steve Show” will be today during our first hour, and Rachel and I will consider this question of the day: “If you were the boss of the world, what one rule would you put into place?”

4 p.m. – Retired educator and author Pete Chacalos is scheduled to return to discuss his recent release, “Wheeling Park Football – The First 50 Years”, and we’ll also discuss the anniversary and schedule for events and tours of the high school, and much more.

5 p.m. – While Wheeling Mayor Denny Magruder and five council members voted to accept the Memorandum of Understanding with tech developer Silicon Foundry, Ward 1 Council member Tony Assaro did not. We’ll find out why during the final hour of the show.

3 p.m. – St. Clairsville Mayor Kathryn Thalman is hopeful that economic development will be secured for the East Ohio region in the near future so her city can stay a city according to the state of Ohio’s population designation, and she’ll sit down with me in the Trinity Health System Studio to discuss what she believes is possible.

4 p.m. – Political analyst Greg Thomas returns for our weekly discussion about national and West Virginia politics, and this week we’ll talk about outside interests, the mood of the upcoming election season, the top issues in the state, warnings about AI, and much more.

5 p.m. – Wheeling Park High grad Brett Phillips is the starting quarterback for Bethany College and David Blake is the Bisons’ head coach, and the two of them will sit down with me to discuss the team’s 1-1 record, their upcoming game against Theil, and we’ll get an update from Brett about continuing his career while playing with Crohn’s Disease.

GIVE A BIKE. GIVE A KID A WAY TO SCHOOL❤️

Warwood School is helping students turn two wheels into a way to get to school, build independence and start each day on the right foot.

The school is collecting new or gently used 24”, 26” and 27.5” bikes, helmets and bike accessories for students who need them.

They’ve also partnered with Free Bike Depot to service the bikes and teach students how to make basic repairs and take care of their new ride.

5 p.m. – “Gigmaster” Jon Banco returns to promote a number of events planned for this Fall at Oglebay and Wheeling parks, and we’ll also discuss several local performers and the gigs they have scheduled for the upcoming weekend.

4 p.m. – Local singer/songwriter Gage Joseph has been teasing “New Music Coming Soon” and he’ll perform his brand new single – “Throw in a Lime” – and we’ll talk about his upcoming opening gig for Lee Brice at the Capitol Theatre.

5 p.m. – While W.Va. Del. Jeff Stephens (R-6) has continued assisting Mount Olivet residents with their quest for answers concerning the operation of a nearby coal slurry impoundment, he’s also been busy with other constituents and their issues. 3 p.m. – I’ll offer a number of updates at the beginning of the show, and then Dave Pilarski from The Wheel will offer us a preview of the party he and The 19th Hole will hold this Sunday.

3:30 p.m. - W.Va. Supreme Court Justice Bill Flanigan will join me on the phone to describe his experiences since joining the state’s highest court.

4 p.m. – W.Va. Del. Shawn Fluharty (D-5) is running for a Senator’s seat representing the Northern Panhandle, and he’ll sit down with me this afternoon to talk about the issues facing the 1st District and the state.

5 p.m. – Democrat Jack Regis will join me for an abbreviated version of the “Political Roundtable” before he and I dive into this week’s “Ohio Valley Game Night” high school football preview show.
