As a kindergartener, Zachary Teoh was the youngest spelling-bee champ in River Oaks Elementary School history. Last year, at age 8, he competed in the Scripps National Spelling Bee and tied for 74th place as a second grader. This year, he will again represent HISD on the national stage in DC at age 9. Tune in to Scripps Sports for the quarterfinals through 12 p.m. today; ION for the semifinals this evening, 7-9 p.m.; and ION for the finals tomorrow, 8-10 p.m. Good luck, Zachary!
