Curing some winter squash for long term storage. I didnā€™t end up with any acorn squash from the trellis but my spaghetti squash took off. Still have some on the vine ripening. If you havenā€™t tried spaghetti squash, it is delicious with any sauce you would put on actual spaghetti and so easy to cook! šŸ‘©ā€šŸ³ focusing on plants that will have long term preservation without canning or freezing was one of my goals this year and Iā€™m pretty happy with my progress.

If you are a tea drinker, I highly recommend growing some of your own herbs for tea ā˜•ļø

āœØ I have been enjoying fresh tea from the garden all summer from my lemon balm plant. Lemon balm is a natural anxiolytic and I drink a cup before bed. I recently harvested and hung it to dry to preserve for winter goodness. Used our jar vaccuum for added freshness. Excited to dry the rest! It was a prolific plant (plant in pot as it will take over). Hereā€™s to expanding the tea garden next year šŸŖšŸŖ“šŸ‘©ā€šŸŒ¾

Will be filling the stand on Sundayā€™s again, but also available for preorder if you would be interested in weekly order! Send us a PM. These unwashed eggs are from chickens fed organic, non-GMO feed, free-ranged on our property. If you havenā€™t had eggs from well cared for chickensā€¦.you are missing out. You can taste the difference. We have chicken and quail eggs currently available. Duck eggs should be coming soon.

Pizza Night!
Crust is fresh milled flour sour dough. Made a cheese pizza ; pep and banana peppers from the garden pizza; and a veggie for mom with my garlic scape pesto sauce, fresh cherry tomatoes and banana peppers from the garden, and artichoke. It was out of this world šŸŒŽ šŸ¤¤
Cooking from scratch isnā€™t all or nothing. Trying and failing is better than not trying at all. My bbq chicken calzone wasā€¦.difficult. Learning still tastes pretty good lol.
