🌟 Case Study Spotlight: Ivan’s Seizure Helpers 🌟

When Author Faviola V. Iglesias approached us, she sought a trusted partner to help bring her third children’s book to life—a deeply personal, bilingual (Spanish/English) story created to teach seizure safety in a gentle, age-appropriate way. Though already a published author, Faviola chose Duck Duck Publishing to elevate this important project with thoughtful design and high-quality production.

The Challenge

As a proud Mexican immigrant, first-generation college graduate, and former tech product marketing manager turned stay-at-home mom, Author Favi wanted to create a book rooted in her lived experience navigating her child’s seizures. The challenge was to:
• Turn her Canva-designed book with AI-assisted illustration into professionally-published, print-ready format and ePUB
• Produce eco-friendly physical books using FSC-certified paper and soy-based inks
• Optimize and produce educational and promotional assets based on her Canva drafts, taken into consideration fulfillment constraints

🌟 Case Study Spotlight: Szeto Studios – When Chicken and Duck Talk 🌟

When Szeto Studios came to us, the goal was to bring to life a bilingual children’s book series that celebrates connection across languages and cultures. The debut title, Learning to Swim, introduces young readers to Chicken and Duck—two friends who speak different languages but share the same world.

The Challenge

Author Joanna Szeto, a bilingual Chinese teacher in San Francisco, wanted to create a story that reflected her students’ real experiences navigating Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. She needed a partner to help with authentic bilingual editing, cohesive branding, and quality production.
