A private sanctuary shaped by architecture, landscape, and light ✨

The Secret Garden Residence is a rare new work by Olson Kundig, conceived as a private C-shaped retreat surrounding a serene garden courtyard and twin reflecting pools. Floor-to-ceiling glass, a 10-foot walnut door, and Japanese-influenced materials create a seamless connection between the home and its natural surroundings.

Inside, exceptional craftsmanship is found throughout, from the rift-sawn walnut kitchen and Fior di Bosco marble primary bath to a custom walnut-and-blackened-steel library. Outdoors, David Ohashi’s landscape layers granite boulders, Japanese maples, black pines, bamboo, and evergreen screening around reflecting pools and terraces, creating an immersive retreat unlike any other.

Optimization isn’t about the outfit. It’s about showing up 💪🏼

Doesn’t matter if you show up in Upgrade Labs Bellevue in gym clothes, work clothes, or no shoes at all — the recovery and performance tech works exactly the same either way.

Your cells don’t know what you’re wearing. The data doesn’t care either.

Strength, recovery, and longevity aren’t about looking the part — they’re about showing up and doing the work.

Curated by Design | Series 2 of 4: Scandinavian-Inspired

Continuing our four-part series, we’re taking you behind the scenes at Decorus | Seattle Home Staging to explore the design philosophies that shape our luxury staging projects and the intentionality behind every detail.

No two luxury homes are alike, so why would their staging be?

Scandinavian-inspired design is rooted in simplicity, functionality, natural materials, and a deep appreciation for light and warmth. The result is a refined approach that feels calm, timeless, and effortlessly luxurious.

For this Luxury Reserve, every element was thoughtfully curated to complement the home’s architecture. From sculptural furnishings and layered natural textures to carefully selected artwork, each piece was chosen to create a sense of balance, warmth, and understated sophistication.

Swipe through to see how Scandinavian-inspired design takes shape when thoughtfully curated for a luxury home.

Because great staging doesn’t compete with the architecture. It elevates it.

➡️ Stay tuned for Series 3 of 4, where we’ll explore another design philosophy shaping the way we approach luxury staging.
