One heck of a way to end my tv news career!

ICYMI: A local man is proving even though his body is different, he can do what everyone else can and more. I had the pleasure of meeting/ sharing Mike Diehl's story. This Middletown man holds title of second strongest disabled man in the world!!

He pushed 400 lbs.. said it was "light." His story is great. His persistence is incredible.

Today we remember and honor the fallen. I love this video and I think it's worth a listen & share on this 🇺🇸

Today is also the day my fiancé, Jack, heads to Army basic combat training at Ft. Jackson. In 9.5 weeks, he'll then get to start his dream job at West Point, as a member of the Hellcats. Really proud of my guy!

PERSONAL NEWS: For the past 5+ years, I've lived out my dream career 📺🎤 I've shared some incredible stories- some joyous and others heartbreaking. I reported through a global pandemic, hurricanes, tornados, a blizzard - made it through three winters (if you know you know) and have seen more in these past five years than most people see in a lifetime. Growth comes with big decisions, and I'm making a big one leaving the career I've dreamed about since I was a little girl.

To the viewers & anyone who has ever trusted me with their story, given me a news tip, or simply told me they enjoyed watching me on their TV - thank you! Kindness goes a long way in this industry!

Pursuing a career outside of local news comes with tons of emotions, and even though it was a hard decision to make, it's the right one for me and where I see my future going. I know this next chapter both professionally & personally will the best yet.

I'll anchor my last show Sunday morning, and my last days reporting at Local 12 will be this Monday & Tuesday. I'll keep my professional pages, so stay in touch! All my love to you, Cincinnati 🫶

There are no words for this senseless tragedy that hits far too close to home. Journalists everywhere are tasked to report on homicide investigations - in fact, I covered one earlier this week. I so wish we could walk into work every day knowing we'd be safe. Dylan was simply doing his job. My heart hurts so badly for Dylan's family, fiancée, friends, and the whole Orlando news community.

Spectrum News 13 photojournalist Jesse Walden was also critically injured. Please say a prayer for him.

He will be dearly missed.

Can't let the day go by without posting about my sweet Valentine❣️

Since I'm always sharing other people's stories, I'll share a little bit of ours! Jack & I met in through marching band, and marched in The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps together in 2014 & 2015. We always were friends, but never lived in the same city. Last year, he messaged my work page and said he was going to be in Cincinnati. The rest is history!
