Hidden away in Kirkland is a secondhand store doing more than simply helping thrifters find a good deal — it’s directly aiding and funding the community it serves Eastside Community Aid Thrift Shop is the kind of old-fashioned shop to which, say, a grandmother takes her grandchild to roam the aisles, sorting through ruffled shirts, flowy tops, slightly worn designer jeans with hand-written price tags, and charmingly aged knick-knacks that might move one to exclaim, “Oh — I remember this.”
