No new episode of Relatable Catholic for the next couple weeks šŸ¤

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and in the spirit of being honest… this is something I personally struggle with. Lately I’ve been feeling pretty overwhelmed, and I need to take a short break until the school year is behind me.

I’m grateful to know that my strength comes from the Lord, and accept that this is an invitation to grow closer to Him and unite my suffering with His.

Thank you for your understanding. It truly means so much. We’re already looking forward to catching up with you in a couple weeks… when I can finally say it’s officially summer break ā˜€ļø

This week Angie joins me to share how every unexpected career change led her exactly where God was calling her. We’re talking about trusting God in uncertain seasons, letting go of control, and finding peace in the path you didn’t plan.

As always, we’re praying for you.

Between First Communion celebrations, end-of-the-school-year chaos, and just regular life… we didn’t have a spare moment to record this week.

At this point I’m either melting… or having a full meltdown. šŸ˜‚

We’ll be back next week and already can’t wait to catch up with you all.

As always, we’re praying for you. šŸ¤ Katie

Corey and Fr. Andy are back this week to (hopefully) calm the group chat a little. We’re talking through the changes in our parishes, answering the questions on everyone’s mind, and sharing insight from dioceses that are a little ahead of us—plus bringing some much-needed perspective (and maybe a few laughs).

Not all friendships are as good for us as we think…

This week we’re talking about what it looks like to have friendships that actually bring you closer to God, and when it might be time to take a step back (even when it’s hard).

Some changes are harder than others. This is one of those.

The announcement of Fr. Andy’s move and parish changes has us feeling all sorts of ways… mostly sad. In this episode, Corey and I sit down with Father for an honest conversation about what it looks like to let go of something you love, hold onto faith, and trust God even when it’s difficult.

But as Pope John Paul II said, ā€œWe are an Easter people and Alleluia is our song!ā€

37,000 people will enter the Catholic Church in the United States tonight.

20 of them are from our own small town parish!

Something is happening.

The Holy Spirit is moving in a real, powerful, undeniable way. Lives are changing. Hearts are returning. People are saying yes to God.

And we are getting to witness it.

When I started Relatable Catholic, it wasn’t some big, thought-out plan. It was a simple yes during Adoration. And honestly, it’s been hard. I’ve thought about quitting more times than I can count.

But then I see it.

Someone shares how much they’re learning about the faith. A line of 15+ people waiting for confession (like I saw just last week). Real people encountering a real God.

And I’m reminded that this matters.

I’ve always tried to live with one goal: eternity. Even though I fall short more often than I’d like, God’s mercy never stops calling me back.

But recently, I was reminded of something I had been missing:

We’re not just called to get to Heaven.

We’re called to bring people with us.

That changes everything.

God has given me the gift of sharing this faith, and I don’t take that lightly. I’m so grateful for each of you who listens, supports, and walks this road with me.

I’m praying for you this Easter! That you would see the call God has placed on your life.

Eternity.

Let’s make Heaven crowded šŸ¤Ž

The terrific trio is reunited! Corey and Fr. Andy are back, and we’re talking all things Holy Week—from Palm Sunday to the Easter Vigil. We break it down, make it relatable, and answer the important questions… like why Easter somehow involves bunnies and colored boiled eggs?

Holy Week is almost here and it’s not too late to prepare your heart.

In this solo episode, I reflect on Palm Sunday and the parable of the Prodigal Son, diving into what it means to return to God, let go of distractions, and truly walk with Jesus—even when it’s hard.

If Lent didn’t go as planned, you’re not alone… and there’s still time to come home!

Geoff Kaiser joins me this week as we dive into the life of St. Joseph and the powerful role he plays in fatherhood.

We talk about what it truly means to lead a family in faith, how fathers can be a steady example of love and strength, and why St. Joseph is such a strong model of quiet leadership and trust in God.

Also… just to clarify… St. Joseph was not physically with us for this episode šŸ˜‚šŸ™ but we’re pretty sure he was there spiritually.
