Something I’ve learned over time: tech house bass rarely needs to be complex. Turn almost anything into a stab, then focus on the songwriting and feel. That’s where the vibe lives 🌴I will drop more bass stab ideas in the future for sure though because some of them are interesting.

The magic of barely trying to do anything and making a crazy sound. I realized awhile ago that automating FM makes any patch sound like it’s “straining” in the timbre so I use that all the time bc it’s pretty cool sounding.

This isn’t my usual type of content but I wanted to share some of my thoughts today. I’ve had a lot of criticism from some people in my immediate circle about my aspirations, usually baseless, and it made me think about and want to share my mentality about following your dreams.
