Important news for cyclocross racers in the Puget Sound area!

This season we have a USA Cycling sanctioned series where we can all get USAC points!

Why is this important?

Because CX Nationals will be in Tacoma (Lakewood, Ft. Steilacoom) in 2019. And if you want to race for the championship, you need to have USAC points!

You earn points by placing near the top of your race category. You also get to use these points to "officially" upgrade from Cat 4 to Cat 3, 3 to 2 etc.

Cyclocross Meets Crossfit! (finally)

I've always thought the short, intense workouts of Crossfit are a great training supplement to cycling for Cyclocross folks.

Now we get to see what "Pure Crossfit" athletes can do on a bike, on a fast grass course, with some barriers thrown in.

It will be fun to watch!

🚲 Hey cyclists!

Whether you find your freedom on the road, in the mountains, in a spin class or even at home on the trainer, you have a connection with the bike.

I started Pints & Cowbells to help people express that connection. Though I'm a "master's age" racer now, I've never lost the love of getting out on the road, the trail or even putting in the training time in front of a TV or computer on the trainer.
