Founded on May 1, 1941, Ken & Helen ran the business out of one of the first 24-hour gas stations in VT. They started out with just 2 trucks. Customers paid 8 cents/gallon.

We can't believe it, today we're celebrating our 84th year in business! We owe a tremendous thank you to the generations of Cota's & employees who have helped us thrive, grow, and overcome challenges through the years. Our current TEAM COTA is pretty fantastic too!

Fun fact, there are many familiar businesses who also opened their doors in the 1940's: Paper Mate, ABC, Do It Best, Jeep, Mattel, Minute Maid, U-Haul, Tupperware, Runnings, & J-Crew.

Snow removal is important for your safety and ours. A clear path makes our delivery quick and safe. Snow and ice falling off the roof or being plowed into tanks or fill pipes can cause damage and unsafe situations. Thank you for helping us keep you safe and warm!

With more snow on the way remember to check your outdoor vents and clear away snow for your safety.

-Remove snow around your fill pipe and propane tanks. If you can't see them, neither can we! Safety for you, your home, and our drivers.

Also check in on your neighbors and lend a helping hand.
