Honea Path- Jimmy "Doc" Smith will be the next Mayor of Honea Path after beating Tina Scott and Luther Moon. Dr. Smith received 331 votes. Moon received 61 and Scott 28. (Unofficial Results, and Subject to Change.)

Belton- Belton Fire Department, Anderson County EMS Paramedic, Medshore Ambulance Service, and Life Flight responded to Clinkscales Street for a patient who was cutting a limb when the limb fell, hitting the ladder, causing the patient to fall to the ground. LifeFlight airlifted the patient to Prisma Health Greenville.
