Anderson- An Anderson County Deputy has been arrested. Public records show Darin Leonard Mattison was arrested for Breach of Trust with Fraudulent Intent more than $2000 but less than $10,000 and Misconduct in Office. Mattison is currently in the Anderson County Dentention Center. We are working to get the detail that led up to this arrest.

Williamston - Tonight, Envision Williamston hosted its 2025 Williamston Talent Show. What a turnout they had. Paid prizes ranged from $1000 to $250. These prizes were awarded to the top three winners from both the children's and adult categories. The Children's Talent winners were Abby Ferguson 1st place, Zoie Johnson 2nd place, and Olivia Jackson 3rd. In the Adult category, Jordan Thurman was the first-place winner, Alicia Holdbrooks was second, and Brittany Hiott was third.

Belton- Friendship Fire Department, Medshore Ambulance Service, South Carolina Highway Patrol, Anderson County EMS & Special Operations, and Life Flight responded to Pinson Farm Road for a one-car collision. A 2008 Honda Accord hit a tree along Pinson Farm Road. LifeFlight was requested. LifeFlight crew treated the patient on scene, but the patient was too unstable to fly. LifeFlight crew, along with EMS personnel, took the patient by ambulance to Anmed, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Anderson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 43-year-old William Kristopher Fleming from Belton. Fleming sustained multiple fatal injuries. Fleming was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck. Alcohol was also a contributing factor in this wreck. South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Anderson County Coroner's Office are investigating this wreck.

Iva- Friday night during the Crescent High School and Palmetto High School Football game at Crescent, a Palmetto Football player sustained an injury on the field. Palmetto Football player #55 Eli Jordan went down on the field after coming in contact with Crescent's #5. Emergency personnel quickly rendered aid to the hurt player. Life Flight landed on the Football field. Jordan was airlifted to Prisma Health (Greenville Memorial Hospital) for his injuries. His condition is currently unknown.
